Tonight’s match - Mansfield v Scunny

Therefore we will be away to either Sunderland, Rochdale, Accrington, Shrewsbury, Barnsley, Newcastle U21 or...Port Vale.
I'm lying to you.

Apparently the draw is done in two halves, and we can only be away to the winner of Groups 1-4.

Therefore: Sunderland, Accrington, Rochdale or Shrewsbury.

Some tough games there. Sunderland would be a great stage for the lads. Fingers crossed.

We haven’t won, but haven’t lost anything in the chekatrade as we have been able to field a weakened team each time giving valuable minutes to the squad. Will the second round be before Xmas?

First week in December, after the FA Cup tie.

Sunderland would be a big crowd (they've been getting 7000+ or so for group home games.
Sure plenty of us would travel to Stadium of Light. Worst one for me distance-wise though but best for ScotImp I guess?

As far as I can see from the EFL official website we can be away to any of the other 7 northern group winners:

Redimps website comes to the same view:

We didn't win any of our games in the group stage, and yet we're through. It's a silly competition but hey, I'll take another shot at Wembley.
