Run upto Christmas

Made in Wigan

Vital Champions League
The international break has definitely come at the right time. We need to regroup and get a couple of the injured back into some form of shape. We're still four points off the drop so have that cushion that tension within the squad shouldn't be too high.

Reading H
Rovers H
Bolton A
Derby H
Ipswich A
Birmingham H

Looking at that run of fixtures they are certainly more manageable than the last five we've faced.

The away record cannot continue indefinitely and I'd be looking at 2 points minimum from those two, possibly 4. Derby generally beat us at home and Blackburn won't be easy but the other two we have to be targeting for wins. Ten points should be aim to keep the wolves from the door.

I hope the new owners dont have a cooling off period written in to the take over contract.

Reading - Win
Rovers - Draw
Bolton - Draw
Derby - Lose
Ipswich - Lose
Birmingham - Draw

And that's being optimistic.

I don't think they will be as fickle as some of our fans.
If they turn up at the DW on a cold afternoon and end up watching a game like Fleetwood (at home) last season .... First Cathay Pacific back home or a quick 'chat' with the new directors .... 什麼血淋淋到底你讓我們進入Joe Royle?

Sid none of fans are being fickle. Losing seven out of the last seven away doesn't make fans fickle. They're just concerned.
Seeing we have one of the worst records going forward and one of the worst records in defence isn't making fans fickle it's making fans worried.
We also have a very poor squad in depth and that shows because without our main players we are not getting results. That isn't fickle it's realism.
Stop having a go at fans Sid. Can you not see that over the summer we just didn't prepare or recruit for a season in the Championship. That is not fickle it's just plain obvious.

Bolton currently on a club record run of four straight home defeats without scoring.

Latics currently on a club record run of seven straight away defeats, scoring three goals.

Bolton have six points from their last 39 available, with one win in their last 13 games.

Latics have four points from their last 24 available, with one win from their last eight games.

Parkinson’s hoofball against Cook’s parked bus away from home.

Has this derby match ever been devoid of such quality yet been of such importance to both teams?

More likely to flood us with young Everton Wannabees. He has no affiliation or loyalty to us. He's a Goodison Mon through and through.
So no new player / manager / fan/ backroom staff have any loyalty to Wigan and therefore cannot be relied on and we should only employ people who have been with us before, by your logic then
