Giving an organization like the FA a lump sum of money of any size is a recipe for disaster, corruption and a debacle that would make the OS saga look like a mickey mouse cartoon.

Not the two games a year that are already pencilled in.

But what he really wanted was a franchise whose home base was Spurs. NFL have really done a job on him if this goes through, as the cost of the retractable pitch and other facilities is not insignificant.

Not good then by the sounds of it.
 
There isn't any reason not to have two NFL franchises in London. It works in New York.
 
Is American football popular enough here to sustain a franchise at Wembley? I know they sell out the 1 off games there but it's another thing to fill it for the season.
