Jack changed his boots tonight, he has been using Mercurial's in the first 3 Prem matches, but switched to the new Phantom boots (maybe upon McGinn's suggestion as he just started using them). He was trying out the Tiempo's in pre-season. Hopefully these new ones have the scoring touch in them

Upon review, Lansbury had a lovely backheel to set up Jack's goal, and it appears as though a member of our coaching staff has a paper cut out of Deano's head which he was holding in front of his face behind Deano.

Crewe had a stretch between our first and second goal where they looked ok, but that was more Villa being lazy than them looking good. The second half the only Crewe player to touch the ball has been their goalkeeper when he has to pick it out of the net

I can also see why Deano is so high on Konsa. Reminds me a lot of Tuanzebe in terms of his willingness to dribble forward into the opponent's half when given the space. Really opens up options moving forward
