Time to shore up the midfield coming in to the second half with Teddy Bishop playing a part. Jensen is superb when presented with 1 on 1 situations. Come on the Imps.

Can we make the play offs?

Imagine being in a situation where we want Peterborough to win a game and that is where we find ourselves as Imps today. Peterborough have a 1-0 lead against Stevenage and I hope they hang on until the end.

Stunning performance and it has been coming. This team are quickly becoming a joy to watch and setbacks, like the loss through injury of key players, are overcome by the squad being well prepared to reach the standards required.

    Who plays in midfield?

What a wonderful position to be in having 4 excellent midfielders in the squad and I am sure Michael Skubala will get the best out of this situation.

A thoroughly enjoyable game tonight. The one touch passages of play and the forward press was a joy to watch and in stark contrast to the overly cautious play we saw earlier in the season. To see so many players getting in and around the opponents penalty area leads to some exciting play, it...

An entertaining half of football from the Imps and if we can extend the lead it would be no more than we deserve. Shrewsbury can knock it around in midfield ok and we need to make sure they don’t get close to our goal as they have shown they can find each other. Big second half coming up.

It was a pleasant change for us to get a goal like that, it rarely seems to happen that we are gifted such soft goals.

Port Vale were poor and were never able to apply any pressure on us. We did enough to win the game however that game will be quickly forgotten. The pitch had an effect on the quality of the play and we were able to dictate the momentum of the game. Three more welcome points and we move on to...
