    Tranmere and Sunderland it is

So, we knew Rotherham, Bolton and Ipswich had already come down from the Championship to be in League One next season. Lincoln, Bury and MK Dons had joined us from League Two. The play-off weekend saw Tranmere up from League Two and Sunderland remaining in League One. On a personal note, had...

Chin up, there are many reasons to be happy

Totally agree, was a really good post and very true. Yes, we'll lose some of our top talents, but as long as we reinvest that wisely we have the basis to build and move forward some more. Clarke will be a big miss, but we 'should' get big money for him and will hopefully insert our own...

    Play-offs... can we do it?

Well, it wasn't to be was it. To be fair we were pretty poor over both legs, not that Sunderland were much better, if any better? Given the start to the season we made, we should've finished in the top two really, but that poor winter run cost us. That, and some pretty poor loan signings (on...

    Sunderland - play-off semis

Fair play to you Tim. Haven't managed a game all season, first time in god knows how long I've not done a game. Turned down the Checkatrade as didn't feel it fair if I went, would probably have to do the same for the play-off final... gonna be mighty tough to make it now though. Thought we were...

    Play-offs... can we do it?

As said in the other thread... Well, away form wasn't shown on Saturday. In fact, I thought we were poor, very poor in a game that wasn't that good at all. Home form MUST be good on Thursday, or that's that!

Away form versus Home form a' la Play-offs

We've got the ability, pace and goalscoring threat to cause problems on the break, for sure. However, I'd worry about us soaking up too much pressure as I think Sunderland will take chances if they have too many. Hopefully, Sunderland's poor form continues, Charlton are the side I really fear...

Vital Pompey - Check In & Say Hello!

Would be great if some of you guys could get some stuff going. If it's different people starting threads and keeping them going it could, if not would, see interest grow I reckon? Like Dave says, some of the forum stuff could also be used front pages?

    Play-offs... can we do it?

Well, at least Sunderland are out of form. Yes, I guess we would've prefered to avoid them, but end of the day if we're going to go up now we'll NOT have any easy games will we! Three wins and we're up... admittedly Charlton are the in-form side, and perhaps would be classed as favourites to go...

    Play-offs... can we do it?

I'll be honest with you, I had really started to believe we would take it to the final game of the season and have a shout at automatic promotion. Ok, perhaps we used up that 'last day drama' a few years back to win the League Two title. But, maybe I was being too optimistic, I also thought...

    What's going on?

Well, technically the person in charge of this forum is me. As said in the other thread recently though, with work and life with a 9-month old River, time if pretty short. However, when time does allow, I do hope to crack on and do things in the forum and try to do more writing for the front...
