    League One Match Thread (19/04/24 - 20/04/24)

Loads of Italians came to the area in the 1950's to work in the brick making works in Bedfordshire. Also got jobs at Perkins Diesels.

    FA Cup Replays

The Premier League have spent some money to get rid of some games so PL clubs can spend more time playing in Europe/ go on money spinning trips to the USA etc. It absolutely stinks. I'd support any club attempt to boycott the FA Cup next season. Fans have got to stand up against this. Its our...

    Around the Grounds

I hate the way the commentary team assume that everybody watching will be supporting Man City. I suspect most of us will be quite pleased that they lost....in fact I'm delighted! Time was when you always supported the English team in Europe, but those days are long gone.

Match Thread: Carlisle United v Lincoln City

Blimey, a football reporter who can read a game and write really well. Long time since we had anything like that at the Echo or whatever it is called now. Frankly I've stopped looking, it's impossible to get past all those aggressive adverts.

Match Thread: Lincoln City v Leyton Orient

Lovely to read this. Well done Alan and the club. And well done you Tony and family: it must have been a tough thing to do, but the right thing to do. Now, I appear to have something in my eye......

    Player of the season.

Erhahon is a wonderful player, but his temperament is still a bit suspect..and getting himself sent off is not what I want to see in a player of the season. It's Lasse for me. 110% all the time. Great attitude.

First time back at the Bank since surgery 5 weeks ago. How have they been doing while I was away?

Is there any way to read this without getting a "flash sale" banner coming up? Unreadable at the moment.

Gold Memberships on sale 15th Feb

Renewed for my son and I over the phone. Very easily done.Been in the same seats now for 24 years! There's a real buzz about the place isn't there? Very similar to the atmosphere that built with the Brothers.

Which Ground Is The Coldest You've Ever Visited On An Away Day?

It always seemed to be cold on the away terrace at the old Saltergate in Chesterfield. I remember an evening match there in the Jackson era which was nithering. But the coldest I've ever been was at Edgar St, Hereford 27/11/2010. FA Cup 2-2 draw. It was the start of that really cold snap we had...

    Doreen Ashton

Mrs A LOVED the Imps. Had a few political disagreements with her but that didn't matter at Sincil Bank. Cherished memories of her with her rattle and red and white teddy being waved about after a Lincoln goal. Deep sympathy to George and Chris.

    Complacency

I've just renewed season tickets for myself and son, as I have for the last 20 years! Agreed that some performances have been poor, but I'm keeping the faith with MK. First job of any coach is to make a team hard to beat and he's done that ( albeit with a bit of glitch recently) . The close...

    The reality is...

Certainly did! Saw them , too. Robyn Hitchcox and Kimberley Rew , add a great drummer to the band , Morris Windsor, and you have a pretty good lineup. Robyn and Morris still gig as Robyn Hitchcox and the Egyptians. Kimberley wrote "Walking on Sunshine" and "Love, Shine a light " and is enjoying...

Roker Rapport with guest Michael Hortin

I believe that pod was recorded on Thursday, and MH generally does his research on the oppo on Fridays. At least that's his excuse.

    Sunderland Fans

They turn out in their numbers, of course, but I was amazed at their silence and negativity . The way that they turn on the team and their players is not going to help. Booing at halftime? And at the final whistle, their players who went over to clap their support got boos and V-signs for their...
