Nombe still looks very raw for a miilion pound signing, and he's not a youngster. He put in a fair amount of effort v B'ham, but never looked like scoring, or setting up a goalscoring chance for others.

At least we looked as if we were trying to score (for a change), and the stats reflect that. Free kicks, corners, crossing generally -were all poor though, and that has been the case in most games this season. I thought that the ref had booked Rathbone, but no - maybe he said "One more and...

Our squad definitely looked more motivated today. Having said that, we were unable to score, against a relegation-zone team who looked unmotivated until late in the game. Maybe having Rowett as our manager wouldn't have done us much good? A long way for us to go yet to sort out our team...

We played with more intent today , especially first half. In the final third of the pitch, our crossing, finishing and general decision making, still remains pretty awful. Surprised at the lack of urgency shown by Brum, until late into the game, when, as usual, we ran out of steam and started...
