    Sorry in advance...

To highlight what making baseless allegations against a kid that leads to him getting death threats can do to you.

Beckenham is an absolute road though, and it is glorious weather atm down the road in Bromley. Chasing 400 is going to be a huge effort, but given the circumstances not impossible.

HSBC still have a sports site down that way in New Beckenham, think they're the last of the banks to have it this way. I know the Bank of England used to have a similar facility in the South West. The Met Police also have a ground nearby. I expect it would simply be that the Beckenham area...

Beckenham is the hub for all the West Kent players coming through the youth setup. If it didn't exist they'd end up playing for Surrey. So basically Zak Crawley, Alex Blake, Daniel Bell-Drummond and Sam Billings would all have been lost. The boroughs of Bexley, Lewisham, Bromley and Greenwich...

Mate, I think that is a HUGE overstatement, and a little bit Dad's Army tbh. The big bash hasn't killed off state cricket, nor the IPL Indian first class, nor any else. The t20 hasn't killed off county cricket as a whole, more so it's actually boosted it. Same with the one day comps. Kent...

    Lionel Messi obscenity - n/g

Ahhhhh yes that's right. What HMRC did was technically not change the law retrospectively, but change their interpretation of whether something was or was not allowed under the scheme, which led to all the tax being due. Lawyers innit.

I've got number 10, because I always wanted to be a Bergkamp esque number 10. Another lad has number 10 in our squad too, because he's a budding fly half.

What was that? General principal is that you can't make retrospective law changes, otherwise you could simply never do any planning. What happens frequently is "loopholes" getting shut down for future years.

I'm a tax advisor for a large reputable firm, and a few years me and lots of my colleagues got loads of messages from randoms on linkedin about opportunities at various "boutique firms focussing on high net worth (HNW) individuals". Basically, if I'd got the job, I'd have spent my days setting...

They pick it themselves. Loads of the players like to have the same number for everything, like with Root and 66. Broad has number 8 and Jimmy number 9 in the tests, which just has to be football related, which I do like. Chris Gayle has 333 as his number just to remind people that he's got a...

Shotsy, I'm not looking to pick a fight... However, taking the knee is just a gesture, as would linking arms. You can argue the merits of which is more impactful, but they are essentially the same, and the usual suspects would come down against the arm linking as they have done against the knee.
