I watched Everton v Burnley. Their fans quickly turned on some of their players. Young and McNeil in particular. It'll happen again on Sunday if things start to go wrong for them. Everton looked very poor, especially going forwards. If we match them physically and have a good start I see us winning.

Everton and Burnley both look terrible. Burnley can't defend and Everton are crap going forwards with their fans getting on players backs. We should go there to win.

The Athletic article says only 500 additional seats so that's one small block per side rather than 'filling in the corners'. I imagine that the plan might not include roofing and that the containers provide toilet and catering facilities.

The days when 15-18k was seen as a good crowd (mid-1980s for those who went regularly back then) are long gone. If we go down but retain a decent team and are competitive in the Championship we can still sell-out most matches. I can easily see 40k+ for many games in the PL. I don't have a feel...

Even disregarding injuries and the need for 'backups', each game lasts over 100 mins now. We'll need fresh legs in key positions. Best if they are equally as good as the players they are replacing. Key will be keeping everyone happy.
