How much responsibility should our DOF

I wonder whether we were given much encouragement, though. Macanthony puts players on the transfer list and in the shop window once they are in the last year of their contract, if they have turned down a new one. If Clarke-Harris had turned one down, shirley he was looking to leave on a free...

Aah, the famous Project Fear. Now there really was a lot of bollox in that.

    Our NHS (n/G)

If anything is worth bankrupting the country, it is a well functioning health service, NHS or otherwise. Without good health, what is anything else worth? One of the problems is inefficiency and waste which does need to be tackled before any government can ask the public to pay more to fund it...

Well, someone enjoyed bath time with the Minogues. Platonic, I'm sure :cautious:

How much responsibility should our DOF

I hope you are right but he has plenty to prove considering Birmingham, a club possibly dropping in to League One, never gave him a first team appearance and so he has so far played for Harrogate, Rochdale, Donny, Accy and us. A lot of expectations that he is the answer but he will certainly...

    Too much doom and Gloom.

Don't knock it. If only we followed ST's template of no excuse or reason for failure, or even inconsistency, we would fly through the divisions and be above Manchester City in four or five seasons. Mind you, our style of play could still be questioned. :hmmm:

Yes you are right, from League One on goal difference, with no fit central striker and Dempsey having just left. The last result and the league table when he took over are here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60093230

Where did it all go wrong ?

Jonny Williams did play the whole of the 0-0 home draw against Stockport which was one of our tightest games and, at the time, seemed like a valuable point.

How much responsibility should our DOF

Everything but - do we have enough leaders? AND do we have enough players with pace? AND do we have enough creators? AND do we have any finishers? If Clem is meant to spend all his time coaching, somebody has to ensure he is provided those tools. If not the DOF, then who?

Where did it all go wrong ?

Fair enough, although I would rather have another Adam Barrett, who actually made us champions 😊

    Potential targets(GITB video link)?

I thought Bridge was a youngster as well, but he is 28 so if he is not ready now, I doubt he ever will be.

    Too much doom and Gloom.

The bookies reflect the money being expended on bets. If you go on any League Two forum, most other clubs fans had us down for one of the top spots as we had been taken over by Americans and therefore possibly minted and ready to splurge. Some would have backed that expectation with a flutter...

But that's the point. Under NH once we were ahead, 90% of the time we went on to win, and the other 10% we didn't lose or fail. The paradox was that when we went behind under him, we nearly always lost but that statistically happened less often, hence our outstanding form from Jan 23 to Oct 23...
