Also, it could increase the number of shocks, as better teams are more likely to lose a penalty shoot out than lose in a replay.

He did inherit most of it. And to be fair, Militadis is likely to inherit and become a multi millionaire, and he went to a lot of trouble to sign Jesse Lingard.

    FFP charges?

I have always wondered why Forest don't do that.

I had seen that ahead of it, and thought it a really good initative. They removed the sponsor as well, and put on RNID. On a related, but different impairment, I have always thought that it was good lateral thinking that some seats at City Ground with a terrible view have been converted into an...

I agree. I think the statistic on Match of the Day was 22 from set- pieces, which is 6 above the next team (which I think is Burnley). Or putting it in percentage terms, Forest have conceded 40% more set- piece goals than the side second from bottom. That is a really damning statistic.

There was no option to purchase with Reyna, which now looks a good thing.

Well Yates was not watching on Match of the Day, so did not know that. If some Wolverhampton Wanderers player had belatedly got there, and Cunha had got the ball to him, everyone would be moaning abou that. This is not the Championship. There are some world class players in these teams, and...

My take, and that fits with what the commentator was saying on Match of the Day, is that this was just an outstanding goal from Cunha. It seemed to me as if both Omamdebele and Yates were trying to stop Cunha, but he just did something really skilful.

And also, Forest now have a virtually unassailable goal difference compared to Luton Town, so that is a point at this stage of the season. In effect, Forest are two points above Luton Town.

I did not go to this game, nor have I even watched any highlights yet, but this match report in The Guardian seems to reflect much of the analysis on here, both of Forest generally and yesterday: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/apr/13/nottingham-forest-wolves-premier-league-match-report

The EU did not exist at the time that the European Convention on Human Rights came into being. Most of it was drafted by British lawyers, who had been involved in the prosecutions of Nazi war criminals. If must think things tthat are absolute rubbish, it would be a good idea not to say them.

Welll actually, the requirement for Voter ID only came in very recently (last year), so does not explain historic low turnout among the young. Pope's point about the nature of the ID documents that are acceptable and their intended effect on deterring young people is however bang on. I suppose...

Two wins by Liverpool and one from Wolverhampton Wanderers before the fourth star comes Forest's way. But it is the prediction that Tottenham Hotspur will win in 2034 that really gives the game away.
