    Have we…

Same problems season upon season, we just don’t seem to be able to manage a game, from a winning position, particularly in the dying minutes :red:

    Have we…

A decent return I would have thought, over the Easter period. Think that’s the key, to football at any level really, consistent performances. We should be safe and KP planning for next season. At the risk of repeating myself it needs clearing root & branch. Haven’t seen a lot of them live this...

    Have we…

Is there only pools who can recover from a 7-1 drubbing by beating one of the in form teams? :red:

    Have we…

I think if we are still suffering from Tuesday nights hangover we’ll get another paggering when Halifax turn up. We could easily end Easter on a similar fate as the saviour. There should be enough left to keep our heads above water however this is pools we’re talking about. :red:

    Have we…

bottomed out? The only way this season could be any worse is there being only 3 clubs with less points than us! Last night & Oxford city away must be lowest point. BTW we took the lead in both games, Grey opening the scoring in both. You couldn’t make it up! :red:

    Interesting Read

I think I’ve said elsewhere ‘careful what you wish for’ :red:

    Denouement

Don’t think anyone knows how it will all unravel and not sure all will be explained, least not in the public domain. Careful what you wish for, the grass isn’t always greener as we have found out before, sometimes it’s just a big muddy field painted green. Maybe Raj wants to make a fist of it...

    Interesting Read

Definitely has, “ruinous ownership”. If I was the current owner of Pools I’d be connecting with her and following her lead, or is that for the ‘next’ owners? :red:

    Oh dear

Normal service quickly resumed. We know why Askey was pulling his hair out, defenders who don’t know how or when to defend. Balls still getting into dangerous areas as defenders‘ timing or ability to put in a tackle is seriously lacking, continuing to stand off attacking players allowing them...

    The perfect storm.

Suppose January will answer some questions. It should at least be interesting. Those we play are below us in the league table however all are above us in the current form table, where we really have bottomed out. We will be spending the month in the company of similar quality. We can all...

    The perfect storm.

Askey continually referring to ‘they're not doing what we ask them to’ in his post match interview suggests certain players are unable to comprehend, interpret or are unwilling to carry out, his instructions. Once they cross the white line and all that! The behaviours are those which constitute...

    The perfect storm.

We seem to have hit the perfect storm. An owner who, appears, can no longer invest in the club and is losing interest. A manager, who by his own admittance, cannot manage the behaviours of [some] players. Players who are unable, or unwilling, to follow basic instructions. Definitely the worst...

    Last Post

Keep popping in every now and then, that’s what I do. I like it here it’s cosy and warm and there doesn’t seem to be any ‘rarfs’ but as you say there‘s been very little to celebrate and more to moan about recently which gets a bit tedious, basically I’d rather not post than whinge continually...

    Rochdale

Not sure Askey knows his best 11. If a fans poll was taken pre Rochdale game I think Mani D, would appear in there as would Mani O and out of the current midfield options Agyemang would be on the list. We started with one of that ’spine’. Umerah looked as enthusiastic to play for pools as Askey...
