I'm an OAP from the Senility remember! It wasn't quite that rapid - the divisions they played in were
4 3 3 2 2 1 2 3 3 4

I don't think Barry and Darragh would be very happyLooking at the current table, if it all stopped now, then points per game and the final positions would look like this,
Played Points PpG
1. Lincoln 18 35 1.9444
2. Doncaster 17 33 1.9411
3. Hull 18 34 1.8888
4. Accrington 16 30 1.875
5. Charlton 17 31 1.8235
6. Portsmouth 19 35 1.8421
7. Peterborough 18 32 1.7777
8. Ipswich 18 32 1.7777
9. Sunderland 17 28 1.647
10. Crewe 19 29 1.5263
Which would mean we would go up as Champions, on 3 thousandths of a point over Doncaster, and Peterborough, Ipswich and Sunderland would miss out on the Play-offs.
Happy Christmas.

Thing is, I don’t think he was back to his best. He’s produced defensively more sound performances than that to me.
I thought we also did a good job of bowling out to the full backs to get going quickly too.I noticed that. Palmer mostly kicked long. Good management.
I think it was more the way he burst past two players through the inside right position, followed by a sparkling run with a couple of step overs, feint of the shoulder and a decent shot which brought a smart save from the keeper.Thing is, I don’t think he was back to his best. You can throw a blanket over the top 10 or so at the moment. We've just got to keep hanging in there for as long as possible to give ourselves a chance in The Spring. Both Swindon and Wigan did us a favour with last minute goals against Charlton and Fleetwood , four points lost, both will feature I think come May. Its a long old season !
Hahaha I did love that but it is an extra for a cb.I think it was more the way he burst past two players through the inside right position, followed by a sparkling run with a couple of step overs, feint of the shoulder and a decent shot which brought a smart save from the keeper.
Centre backs don't do that, more specifically Lincoln City centre backs don't do that.
Seem to remember Frank Large was their 'barn storming' centre forward who got them to the old First Division remarkably.I'm an OAP from the Senility remember!
Just to say, Palmers distribution is possibly the best I've ever seen from an Imps' 'keeper.

He will go far. Makings of an international
Centre backs don't do that, more specifically Lincoln City centre backs don't do that.
I think the Cowley teams were a bit more subtle than Northampton, though. Certainly more skilled.
