Bit of a random post but if, like me, you're partial to a cheeky flat white or latte, might be worth checking out Pret a manager's coffee subscription offer.
£20 pm gets you up to a maximum of five coffees EVERY DAY for the month. Few of my colleagues and I have started it up and we're saving a fortune.

Definitely not spam or any other canned meat. I know a few of you on here work in town and there seems to be a Prett every hundred yards so plenty of opportunity to use it. I am at this very minute partaking in a free latte!!!!!!
Interestingly Jo, Prett have opened a number of "Veggie Prett" stores 😳
Not heard of any Jewish or Muslim specific ones yet though.

Good one Nobby. Both my adult kids work in central London and have taken advantage of this. Amazingly it is as good as it sounds.

I suppose that this means there will be even fewer Bobbies on the beat because they will all have to remain close to their nick to be able to answer regular calls of nature.
The only time we see a policeman in our village is when they pop home for coffee mid morning or for afternoon tea. There isn't a preta manger in the village so the "assistant librarian" will miss out.

I had heard about that, it's a great deal. Pret is annoyingly out of the way from my office though.

We have an in house barista but he's not working at the moment - covid blah blah
