Live concerts/gigs

Osibisa were great fun live. I saw them perhaps 4 times. I would have liked to see Stevie Ray Vaughan live- a great rhythm guitarist as well as lead. The Keef Hartley Band were a great blues-Rock band live who had a full big band line up of 18 or so for the second part of the gig. A big band at full blast is a great sound.

Punky ones: UK Subs, 999, Lurkers, Buzzcocks, SLF.

Didn’t UK Subs come to Lincoln and play at the place upstairs on the High Street? Can’t for the life of me remember it’s name. Saw SLF loads of times at the Drill Hall. Had a memorable evening watching SLF at Cleethorpes Winter Gardens😀

Aquarius Club? Pretty well over the old Currys/Hepworths??

Put on a few live bands in late 70s, saw the Slits and Glen Matlock's Rich Kids there on the same bill.

that’ll be the one, think it was above a women’s clothes shop, but yeah, think you went in around the back?🤔

Living in Leeds with the Brudenell not far away (as well as other venues coming up like the Irish Centre) feel like I've been to hundreds over last couple of years!
