The heat is on Chansiri...

All in the detail. If Tunaboy told them that he was going to sell the stadium to himself, only pay a fraction of that in cash and put the whole transaction into a previous financial year, and the EPL said, 'yeah, that sounds okay', which is what he's claiming, then there wont be any kind of deduction.

Lots of the oinkers trying to quote Derby as a model, but cash changed hands, and in the correct financial year. Totally different...

It’s their usual defence mechanism kicking in, they think if they say it’ll be ok enough times it will come true. But the facts are that the IF they’re found guilty and considering their responses to date, it should be 12+9 points deduction minimum and if indeed that’s what they get, they should consider themselves very lucky. From what I’ve read, intensional gross misconduct IF that’s what it‘s deemed to be can result in a team being bounced down or even out if the league. Mind you the plus side for them if it happens would be that they’ll be able to brag that they took more away fans to Barrow than any other clubs in the league 😂

it should be 12+9 points deduction minimum

Outside of throwing them out of the league altogether (unlikely) that is actually the maximum deduction they can receive: up to 12 points for breaching P&S rules and up to a 9 points for "aggravated circumstances", i.e. fiddling the books and then lying about it.

The other Championship clubs demanding punishment means that they could get the book thrown at them.

Birmingham's punishment was handed out last season in a fairly quiet manner without any of the other Championship clubs getting involved.

But the other clubs getting involved in their case is something that cannot be ignored.

It's funny though because I thought everybody else loved them. The Premier League clubs apparently want them in the Premier League, so the Championship must be desperate to have them.

Obviously not

Of course they love them they’re doin it so when they go on their late charge for promotion they will fall just short of the play offs and stay in the same division with them
thats what the deluded will be tellin themselves anyway

Amazing the lack of cells those morons have got between their ears.
All they can do is point the finger at other clubs, Derby being the favourite target.

They don't get it at all, Derby sold their stadium for a reasonable market value, they then included the proceeds in the correct accounting period.

The sponsors that give money to Derby County are legitimate tradiing companies.

Villa are also being mentioned, but Villa spent money and got promoted, they aren't under the EFL FFP rules.

Man City have just been fined £25 million and banned from the Champions League for two seasons. (Incidentally does this mean that 5th will qualify)

It would be so funny if those 'orrible Manc ***** suffered and we benefitted from it after what they had to say about us. And it would show the pigs as well that cheats don't prosper anymore so they'll have to try to find a legit way of being successful for a change.

My only hope is that England/Britain doesn't get a major international foootball event ever again, because Sheffield City Council will wangle them out of the shit they've dug themselves into with another free stadium upgrade.

What about the sale of Pride Park?
Derby’s much-publicised decision to sell Pride Park is very much the elephant in the room – but strangely the EFL made no mention of it in its three-paragraph release.
Eyebrows were raised several feet into the air in April last year when publication of Derby’s accounts for the 2017/18 season revealed the sale-and-lease agreement.
This was due to the price: £80million was paid by Derby owner Mel Morris for the ground, allowing for a profit on its sale of around £40million.
This was because the asset carried a value of £40million on Derby’s books.

Actually, they didn't. Although they didn't fiddle the accounting years, Derby are being investigated by the EFL for overpricing the stadium. Aston Villa will be in trouble (if they are relegated) for the same thing as well.

Maybe, maybe not. It doesn't mean that the pork should use it as an excuse for their behaviour.
Derby will get theirs as well, so will Villa if they get relegated, although will they have actually made a loss this year ?
Villa will also have parachute payments and players they can sell, Grealish will go and Villa will be well within the rules again.

Going forwards Villa's finances would be fine, but the sale of the ground was reported in a previous financial year and kept them from breaching P&S rules, so they could still be given a points deduction for that if it is decided that they over-valued it.

Baldock's bro has just made it 3-0. It's a shame that all the clubs around Leeds are a bigger bunch of bottlers than they are though...
