Flitcroft in the frame along with Moore ex WBA
Good call on Moore, remember seeing him play for Donny back in the 90s before it went very wrong there.Moore might get it, ex rovers player too. Adkins possibly but he'll probably end up with a bigger championship club.
Amazed that flitcroft makes it, his cv must be a work of art.
More likely a work of fiction.
Mine certainly is.
Did I say that out loud?
You can include at least a season as Consultant for Set Piece Situations for the Imps though...
Has to be Moore, Flitcroft his only serious rival. Both have win percentages over 40, Moore's nearly 50 (which shows what state WBA are in to move him on). The other two shouldn't be let loose in the Northern Premier.
Good point! I fear it may be an ongoing role.
I'm also going to put down that I am Percentage Improvement Manager (31%, FTE).
he still had them high up in the playoffs though, which also carries a promotion place... derby were 6 points behind them, and finished six points behind them. both teams failed in the playoffs - now one 1st season manager is at chelsea, the other is fighting david flitcroft for a job. fine margins.WBA were 11/4 to get promoted at the start of last season, with a very strong squad. They were expected to go for automatic promotion so his win ratio of 48% was an irrelevance.
At the time of his sacking they'd just lost at home to Sheffield United and been thrashed at Leeds - meaning that automatic promotion had been blown, and he got the boot in the next game, a home draw with Ipswich. Hardly surprising.

Darren Moore got it, delighted for him.
