EU strategy to destroy the Chequers ‘agreement’...

Something positive, please. There are many ways to contol immigration, and the most effective would be to strictly enforce a minimum wage with no exceptions.

Also, what percentage of overall immigration comes from the EU and why do you want to stop British people having the right to work abroad? Hundreds of thousands already do so and are now completely fucked over. What have you got to say to them?

Some positive news ... ummmm ... How about after brexit we can then turn to third world immigration , and Islam's relationship with a modern democracy ?

The "£250 million every week" argument is a clasic example of knowing the price of everything and the value of nothing. If you're in a club, you pay your subs. You get much more out of it than you put in. That's the whole point of co-operation.

As for Raab and Patel, then I'd suggest 15 minutes' research and you'll find out everything you need. Anyone who's still happy with them and calls themself a socialist is beyond helping - they're simply an enabler.

Sorry but how would a minimum wage control immigration? We have already had a minimum wage/living wage system for years but do a bit of research on the government's EU immigration targets for the years leading up to the referendum vote and you will see how far the numbers were exceeded due to the lack of control.

Once we have control, we can initially assess immigrants before deciding whether to welcome them. Do you have a better way to control numbers?

With regard to those already working abroad, they should be largely unaffected as will those EU nationals that are currently working here. May has consistently said that has already been agreed.

See , that's just the kind of bullshit I was talking about. The words are in English but don't even remotely make sense. And you're proud of shitting 2000 posts of that all over this board. Weird

Maybe one might be daft , if one couldn't make 'remote sense' of what I just posted ?

Are you sure that you are not WK with a second user name?

If I was a company salesman, went to a club to join and was quoted £250 membership fee and then the guy behind me was only quoted £20, then the club took the opportunity to sell me loads of their merchandise but didn't want to buy hardly any of the goods I was selling, I would not think I was getting more out of it than I was putting in.

I'm no Thomas Aquinus but I like cryptic crosswords and will give anything ago, but even though it it might make sense inside your head, I'm afraid I'm stumped.

I would suggest you turn in with a mug of Horlicks but you would probably see Reds/Tories under the bed and think you're DOOOOOOMED!

Sweet dreams.

Come on, even you know that's bollocks. You pay all sorts of money for stuff that you don't see an immediate cash-back return from: income tax, rates, insurance premiums, pension contributions. In return you get roads, schools, a functioning civil service, the NHS and so on. The things that make life work. Why should Europe be held to a different standard?

"I pay all this money in and don't get nothing back!" That's because you have deliberately chosen not to look for it.

Don't need to be happy with them. Gisela Stuart, for instance, is a Labour MP born in Germany but has been a leading light in the Leave campaign.

Cue another operation discredit.

Gillsbluenose, for the last few years about 50% of net migration has been from non EU countries. Brexiteers could never explain why, if total numbers, overcrowding etc are such a problem, we hadn't reduced non EU net migration to virtually zero, given that that was totally under our control. The answer is of course that net migration goes up and down in line with the needs of the economy.

Still waiting for an actual positive benefit, by the way.

You're throwing your lot in with Johnson and Rees-Mogg. That's a hard choice for anyone to take. Surely there must be something really positive to make that kind of thing worthwhile.

And Gisela Stuart, like many Labour MPs, and many Germans for that matter, is a fucking idiot.

Come on. How is Brexit going to make your life and my life, rather than Jacob Rees-Mogg's life, better?

One example. That's all I'm asking for.

Positive benefit no.2
It's a step in the direction , of a populist revolution that is unfolding before our very eyes.

Unlike Wayne who chooses to cover his eyes and ears when I have told him time and time again. Let's try it again slowly. No........control.......over....... excessive........EU.....immigration...........in........an........already......overcrowded........ island.
Nothing except bullshit of a Little Englander

Overcrowding? Why not just stop non-eu migration? Why not enforce a minimum wage on ALL workers to make it less financially rewarding to employ non-uk citizens? Your problems with immigration where/are down to government policy more than the EU's philosophy

waldo - the proportion of net incoming migration has changed a lot recently. From memory I think the latest from the EU is around 72K but from the rest of the world around 240k.
